Milan, Italy – As part of the Webinar Series on reintegration awareness and preparedness of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Milan, a webinar on the Balik Pinas Balik Hanapbuhay Reintegration Program of OWWA was launched on 18 April 2021 through the POLO’s Facebook page.

OWWA Administrative Staff Giovanni Docusin led the discussion on BPBH and gave the viewers a step-by-step guide on how they can apply for the program. The BPBH program is a livelihood assistance program for active or inactive OWWA members who suffered from distressful situations. The benefits of the program include possible inclusion in the Enterprise Development and Loan Program and a livelihood support/assistance amounting to a maximum of PhP 20,000.00.

Along with the benefits of BPBH, qualified applicants will also get OWWA’s Entrepreneurial Development Training and Financial Literacy Seminar to further equip OFWs with essential techniques and strategies on business management.

The webinar has been broadcasted live through the POLO Milan Facebook Page and YouTube and in coordination with the Philippine Consulate General in Milan, Italy, the Philippine Embassy in Vienna, Austria and the Philippine Embassy in Budapest, Hungary. To date, the webinar has been viewed 1,400 times and may be viewed anytime through POLO Milan’s social media accounts.
